Surveillance Security - Mobile Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer – Surveillance (Surveillance Ambassador) at GardaWorld Security Services, you will use your sharp eye and attention to detail to spot threats before they escalate. You will monitor screens in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses, conduct mobile patrols of the outside surroundings of a fulfillment center (including parking lots and trailer yards) in a company vehicle, and play a key role in keeping people and property safe.
Responsibilities
- Complete mobile patrols of the outside surroundings of the fulfillment center, including parking lots and trailer yards, in a company vehicle
- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Stand, sit, walk, or climb stairs for extended periods of time
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
- State license if required
- CPR certification (GardaWorld will help obtain this during the hiring process)
- At least 18 years of age or older (21 years of age or older for driving positions) as required by applicable law or contractual requirement
- Must have at least 1 year of security experience
Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $17.72. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.
Schedule
Multiple positions are available across three shifts. Specific schedules will be discussed during the phone interview:
- Mornings: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (weekdays and weekends)
- Evenings: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (weekdays and weekends)
- Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (weekdays and weekends)
