Surveillance Security - Foot Patrol

Site Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule

• Full-time, Friday through Monday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (Graveyard, 32 hours)
• Full-time, Saturday through Wednesday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Graveyard, 40 hours)

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $23.90 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

About the role

As a Surveillance Security Officer, you will use your sharp eye and attention to detail to monitor environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. Your role is critical in spotting threats before they escalate.

Responsibilities

• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology

Qualifications

Security, military, or law enforcement experience in the United States is a plus. GardaWorld Security is the only guarding security company certified by Great Place to Work.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
