Surveillance Security - Entry Level

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and similar settings. This role demands sharp observation skills with attention to detail, monitoring a series of screens to capture every detail.

Schedule

• Part-time, 2nd shift: Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Full-time, 2nd shift: Monday and Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Full-time, 3rd shift: Thursday and Friday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.85 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred
• State license where required
