Protect the Integrity of Gaming Operations
WarHorse Casino Omaha is seeking a detail-oriented and observant Surveillance Operator I to join our overnight team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor guest and team member activities through closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and direct observation.
- Detect, investigate, and document suspicious activities, policy violations, criminal activity, and regulatory concerns.
- Capture, preserve, and maintain video evidence for investigations, compliance reviews, and risk management purposes.
- Monitor and respond to surveillance alarms and security notifications.
- Review video footage to resolve guest disputes, support investigations, and assist operational departments.
- Prepare detailed daily reports, incident logs, and investigative documentation.
- Conduct surveillance audits of gaming operations, count rooms, slot operations, food and beverage outlets, cage operations, and security procedures.
- Ensure surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report technical issues promptly.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all company, guest, and team member matters.
- Aid management, regulatory agencies, and law enforcement when requested.
- Participate in court proceedings related to gaming investigations when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn surveillance software systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and observation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and prepare accurate reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of casino gaming experience.
- Knowledge of table games, casino operations, gaming regulations, payouts, and odds.
- Experience using CCTV, surveillance software, or investigative systems.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- This Position Requires Prolonged Observation Of Multiple Video Monitors And Maintaining a High Level Of Concentration Throughout The Shift.
- Team Members Must Be Able To Sit or stand for extended periods.
- Distinguish colors, movements, and visual details on surveillance monitors.
- Operate computers, camera controls, keyboards, and surveillance equipment.
- Maintain focus while monitoring multiple activities simultaneously.
- Work in a casino environment that may include exposure to secondhand smoke and varying noise levels.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Schedule Requirements
- The casino industry operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Candidates must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and other schedules as business needs require.
