Surveillance Operator (Horseshoe Bossier)

Responsibilities

• Operates all surveillance equipment, including monitors, switchers, computers, controllers, and cameras.
• Provides CCTV and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to assure compliance with established laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Maintains a safe environment for employees and guests.
• Writes daily reports regarding observations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and writing skills with a focus on proper grammar.
• Previous Surveillance experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Non-Key LA Gaming license.
• A thorough working knowledge of all casino games with an emphasis on payoffs, odds, procedures, and game protection.
• A working knowledge of Gaming Control Board Regulations preferred.
• Basic computer operational skills.
• Ability to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Ability to sit or stand for long hours observing numerous CCTV screens.
• Ability to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
• Ability to see and remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate the following equipment: monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
• Ability to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work and maneuver in close quarters.
• Ability to work overtime or change shifts on short notice.
• Ability to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
• Ability to work in a low light environment.
• Ability to clearly write reports and do math calculations with minimal errors.
