Surveillance Operator

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of employees and guests and protect the casino assets via CCTV.
• Clandestinely observe guests and employees on casino property for criminal activity and/or violations of the state gaming commission regulations and the company policies and procedures.
• Report observations to company and state officials when appropriate.
• Record surveillance activity in daily log.
• Completes all company required training successfully.
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform.
• Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
• Ability to refrain from fraternization with employees from other departments.
• Work with and utilize digital recording equipment.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of team members.
• Work in a dark, windowless environment.
• Sit for extended periods of time.
• Use stairs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of games, manuals, policies, procedures, internal controls as well as state regulations pertaining to gaming within first 90 days of employment.
• Successful completion of Op I assessment within 180 days.
• High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a valid Missouri Gaming license.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have no other family members employed at the Isle of Capri Casino/Hotel Boonville.
