About the role
We are seeking experienced, self-determined, and highly motivated Surveillance Investigators to join our team in combating insurance fraud. This is a field-based, hourly, non-exempt position requiring daily travel within the designated city/territory. Opportunities for advancement include management, SIU investigations, and other operational roles.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stationary, mobile, and covert surveillance
- Perform background checks
- Document all findings into clear and concise reports
- Obtain video evidence
- Testify at hearings and trials as needed
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Formulate investigative strategies based on individual assignments
- Communicate results with clients
- Provide daily updates regarding current files
- Conduct research to develop new information
Requirements
- Related experience as a private investigator, law enforcement officer, loss prevention specialist, process server, or security professional
- Honorable discharge from any military branch (if applicable)
- Access to a suitable surveillance vehicle
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision
- Pass a drug test and pre-employment screening
- Excellent overall computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to analyze information, develop logical questions, and accurately report findings
Training
Upon receiving a job offer, you must attend one week of paid formal training at the VRC corporate office, followed by on-the-job and specialized training as needed.

Pay
Investigators are paid a competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience and are paid bi-weekly.
