Surveillance Investigator

Responsibilities

• Carry out mobile and stationary surveillance activities.
• Record clear, steady HD video footage of surveillance subjects.
• Accurately document and confirm the locations of surveillance subjects.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports based on surveillance findings.

Requirements

• Extensive surveillance experience; must reside in the Helena or surrounding area.
• Licensed by the State of Montana as a Private Investigator.
• Own a reliable vehicle, digital camera, and computer with Windows OS, Microsoft Word, and internet access.
• Strong computer and internet proficiency.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours.
• Commitment to timely, high-quality work.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a private investigator conducting surveillance.
• Bilingual skills (preferred).
• Degree in Criminal Justice or related field (preferred).
• Skilled in taking written and recorded statements (preferred).
• Ability to photograph evidence accurately (e.g., accident scenes, vehicle damage).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Pay

Pay Range: $25-$32 per hour
