Surveillance Investigator

Responsibilities

• Be well-organized with strong internet skills
• Possess exceptional note-taking skills
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and potentially holidays
• Be an individual our team can rely on for punctuality
• Identify yourself as self-motivated and detail oriented
• Utilize professional-grade videographic devices
• Compile all surveillance findings into report format utilizing dictation technology

Qualifications

• Reside in the state of Michigan, preferably within the Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, Livingston, Genessee or Ingham County area
• Pass a criminal background check
• Possess a valid driver’s license

Legal Qualifications

• Surveillance Investigators at Data Surveys, Inc. are required to surveil individuals involved in workers’ compensation and other insurance claims areas for fraud prevention purposes
• Given access to a company-owned surveillance vehicle
• Spending five to six days a week in the field securing video footage which documents those individuals’ daily activities and determining their employment status
