About the role
Piedmont Newton and Piedmont Walton are hiring surgicalists/acute care surgery providers for both locations in Georgia. These surgeons will provide emergency department surgical response, oversight of inpatient surgical rounds, and inpatient surgical consultation. The surgicalist works primarily in the inpatient setting and is paired with ambulatory (office‑based) general surgeons, deliberately separating hospital‑based acute and inpatient care from scheduled clinic and elective operating‑room work.
