Surgical Technologist-( ST)-Operating Room

About the role

Full-time position with benefits eligibility. Schedule: Monday–Friday, four 10-hour shifts, 0630–1700.

Education & Experience

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality patient care, safety, and advocacy through critical thinking, anticipation and management of case-specific needs, under direct supervision of the RN.
• Ensures complete, accurate and timely care, cleanliness and management of instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Communicates to the team, co-workers and patients in an effective, positive and professional manner.
• Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance, professional growth and development.
• Demonstrates cost-containment activities of instruments and inventory.

Work Environment

• Required protective equipment: eye/face protection, gown, mask, gloves, hair covering.

Pay

$25.30 – $37.95 per hour.
