Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and materials, including sponge, sharp, and instrument counts.
• Maintain cleanliness, proper supply placement, and verify sterile packaging integrity.
• Ensure patient confidentiality, effective communication, and adherence to current healthcare practices.
• Utilize equipment safely, participate in quality audits, and demonstrate professional knowledge.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Surgical technician certification.
• BLS certification.
• One year of OR experience (preferred).
