Surgical Technologist ( or LPN ) - Day / Evenings , 10 or 12 hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assures a safe and efficient environment is provided for the surgical patient by preparing for each assigned case
- Is an active member of the surgical team
- Affirms overall efficiency of department by effectively clearing Operating Room following the case
- Affirms an optimal perioperative environment to meet the needs of the patient
- Provides appropriate and quality care based on the results of current nursing research and quality improvement monitoring results
Qualifications
- National Surgical Technology certification or credentialed/grandfathered by NYS per 1/21/15 DOH regulation (2824)
- OR NYS LPN license required
- BLS Certification required
- Previous experience as a surgical scrub tech strongly preferred (at this time cannot hire an LPN without surgical OR exp)

Pay
Pay Range: $26.75 - $34.00, based on experience.
Schedule
Schedule: Days/Evenings: After several months of orientation (Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm), pick either 10 or 12 hour shifts during the work week w/rotating on-call responsibilities on any day including holidays.
