Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to surgical team during the intra-operative phase.
- Create an aseptic, safe, appropriately equipped and functional surgical environment.
- Prepare the operating room, supply and assemble instruments, maintain sterile fields, handle instruments, and initiate counts throughout procedures.
- Perform surgical technician duties, including on-call duties as needed.
Requirements
- Completion of 4 years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
- Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist credential from a nationally recognized certifying body accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and recognized by the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgical Technologists.
- Certification in Basic Life Support.
- One (1) year of Surgical Technologist experience.
Qualifications
- Equal to completion of 4 years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.

- One (1) year of Surgical Technologist experience.

USD $55.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week.
- Day shift with weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation.
- Area assignment: Main Operating Room.
- May be asked to float to any Southcoast Hospital: Charlton Memorial—Fall River, St. Luke’s—New Bedford, and Tobey—Wareham.
