Surgical Technologist II, LDRP, Part Time, Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating room and assists physician during surgery.
• Affords patient care as directed by RN, adhering to medical plan of care, SRH policies, and nursing standards.
• Prepares birthing room, patients, and assists physician during delivery and surgery.
• Affords patient care during labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and antepartum, as directed by RN, following medical plans, critical pathways, SRH policies, and nursing standards.
• Communicates patient care needs and resolves work-related issues in a supportive role.
• Completes annual competency on unit-specific Code A responsibilities.
• Completes annual competency on role in assisting RN with neonatal resuscitation.
• Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Department Director.
