Surgical Technologist II (Full Time)

About the role

Find your calling at Mercy! This position performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room at Mercy Orthopedic Hospital in Ozark/Springfield, Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room.
• Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team.
• Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High-School Diploma or GED required (proof of education may be requested).
• Licensure: Non-certified applicants may be considered with acceptable surgical technology experience.
• Experience: Non-certified applicants may be considered with acceptable surgical technology experience.
• Other: Must understand English both written and spoken; must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
