Surgical Technologist Full-Time

Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist will scrub for surgical procedures under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing. They will prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. The position requires demonstrating competence as a member of the surgical team and supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or at least two years of previous surgical technician experience.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is preferred.
• A strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• A deep understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• The ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient.
• An excellent team player with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and physicians.
