About the role
Scripps Ambulatory Surgery located in the XiMed building on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
Responsibilities
- Treat many medical conditions using the latest minimally invasive techniques.
- Train and coach others.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
Requirements
- 3 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
- Able to train and coach others.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Detail oriented and able to work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
- 3 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- CST Certification preferred.
