IR Centers at Urology of St. Louis (USL) is a multidisciplinary private practice endovascular lab. We are leading minimally invasive procedures across the U.S. by providing interventional radiology services in an outpatient setting. Learn more about IR Centers here: here.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures
• Reviews patient orders to determine necessary materials and sets up/cleans procedure rooms
• Affixes necessary supplies and equipment for procedures
• Affixes necessary supplies and equipment for procedures
• Assists with patient prep, transfers, and positioning
• Inputs patient data into the C-Arm and assists physicians during interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique
• Complies with HIPAA, draws up and labels IV medications, and processes/archives x-ray images
• Manages equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and hazardous waste disposal
• Serves as Radiation Safety Officer and assists with accreditation surveys
• Ensures effective communication with physicians

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Valid BLS Certification
• Surgical technologist / Scrub Tech experience: 2 years
• ARRT // CST Certification (Preferred)
