About the role
The Operating Room cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). There are 2 DaVinci robots used by multiple services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.
Responsibilities
- Able to scrub in the operating room
Requirements
- NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
- Minimum two (2) years of experience
- Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center preferred
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
Pay
- 36 hours per week: $1500 to $1630/week (blended rate)
- 48 hours per week: $1800 to $2160/week (blended rate)
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts (Day/Evening/Night rotating)
- Can accommodate 48 hours per week
