Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to the surgical team during operative procedures.
• Organizes and prepares sterile setups for operations, and passes items as required to the operative team.
• Ensures the delivery of surgical care that aligns with established patient outcomes and facility goals, as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Required Qualifications

• Post High School Diploma from an accredited program.
• Graduate from a Surgical Technician program.
• At least one year of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
• Hold a current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• Minimum of one year of Surgical Technology experience in a main Operating Room or SurgiCenter environment.
• Experience in various surgical specialties such as ENT, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Plastic Surgery, etc., is preferred.
