Surgical Services Aide
About the role
Works concurrently with OR staff to care for patients prior to and following their surgical procedures. Key functions include assisting patients, cleaning and preparing care rooms, troubleshooting equipment, and responding to requests from the surgical team or patients. This position provides care for or assistance to patients of all ages, including: newborns, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.
- Current CPR certification or within 3 months of date of hire.
Preferred: Certified Nurse Aide
