Surgical Scheduler - Gastro

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

About the Role

This full-time position is located at 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST. The role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries for the department under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to assist in problem resolution and identify the most efficient schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate using both written and verbal skills.
• Proficiency with organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical skills to maintain and modify the scheduling module.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of three months of previous business office or healthcare-based experience.
• Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience.
• Medical terminology or coding experience.
• One year of EPIC experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) helpful, but not required.
