Surgical Scheduler
About the Role
The Surgical Scheduler is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the patient’s perioperative experience. Scheduling is completed in a compassionate, professional, ethical, and knowledgeable fashion based on the mission and vision of Rush Copley, and is in accordance with policies and procedures. The Surgical Scheduler ensures patient safety by following the surgical scheduling process and works closely with the entire multidisciplinary team. The position requires a complete understanding of own limitations and the ability to seek advice, judgment, and support from others when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the patient’s perioperative scheduling.
- Ensure scheduling is completed in a compassionate, professional, ethical, and knowledgeable manner.
- Follow the surgical scheduling process to prioritize patient safety.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support perioperative care.
- Recognize personal limitations and seek guidance or support when necessary.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to set priorities and adapt to change.
- Flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish) abilities are highly desirable.
Pay
Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience, skills, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. The pay range reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected for the position. Offers may vary depending on individual circumstances.
