Surgical Scheduler

About the role

Rome Health is seeking a Scheduler to join our medical center team. The Scheduler will act as clerical staff to ensure scheduling and patient appointments are accurate.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the compliance plan, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a quality level of service to patients.
• Answer, screen, and route all outside calls to appropriate areas.
• Train to become fluent in Paragon, patient registration, and resource scheduling.
• Cover reception for check‑in and check‑out when necessary.
• Perform other duties as listed in the job description.

Requirements

• Computer skills.
• Basic math ability.
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• De‑escalation training.
• Safe patient handling training.
