Surgical Scheduler

About the role

Rome Health is currently looking for Scheduler to join our medical center team. The potential employee will act as clerical staff to ensure scheduling and patient appointments are accurate.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the compliance plan, policies and procedures
• Gives a quality level of service to patients
• Answers, screens and routes all outside calls to appropriate areas
• Will train to become fluent in paragon, patient registration and resource scheduling
• Covers reception for check in and check out when necessary
• Other duties as listed in the job description

Qualifications

• Computer skills
• Math ability
• High school diploma or GED
• Medical terminology is a plus
• BLS, de-escalation training and safe patient handling are a plus
