What You’ll Do

  • Communicate with patients regarding pre-operative and post-operative care and scheduling
  • Educate patients on surgical procedures, lens options, and treatment plans
  • Explain financing options and assist patients with applications such as CareCredit when needed
  • Cook up and schedule surgical procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Review surgical instructions, paperwork, and consent forms with patients
  • Collect applicable patient payments and ensure documentation is completed properly
  • Prepare and organize surgical charts and required paperwork for surgery centers and hospitals
  • Scan and maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation
  • Perform preliminary testing and assist in counseling patients regarding lens options
  • Deliver a compassionate, professional, and reassuring patient experience

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This is primarily a sedentary role involving extended periods of sitting, phone communication, computer work, and detailed documentation review. Strong visual attention to detail and clear verbal communication are essential to success in this position.
