Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients regarding pre-operative and post-operative care and scheduling
- Education patients on surgical procedures, lens options, and treatment plans
- Explain financing options and assist patients with applications such as CareCredit when needed
- Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures accurately and efficiently
- Review surgical instructions, paperwork, and consent forms with patients
- Collect applicable patient payments and ensure documentation is completed properly
- Prepare and organize surgical charts and required paperwork for surgery centers and hospitals
- Scan and maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation
- Perform preliminary testing and assist in counseling patients regarding lens options
- Deliver a compassionate, professional, and reassuring patient experience
