About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med Surg role in a specialized surgical unit.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.
- Maintaining safety and alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree, RN license, no prior experience required.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, less than 2 years of experience.
