About the role

We are seeking a Surgical Neurophysiologist to join our Fort Lauderdale IONM Team covering our accounts in the greater Fort Lauderdale, FL area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring services to ensure patient safety during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and reduce complications.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IONM practices through research and innovation.
  • Support the educational development of other IONM professionals within the organization.

Requirements

  • CNIM and/or D.ABNM certification required.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a science related field preferred.
  • Two years minimum of experience; Five plus years of experience preferred.
  • Ability to work on Call.

Qualifications

  • Highly skilled in monitoring and interpreting neurological signals during surgical procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with surgical teams.
  • Proficient in using medical equipment and software for neuromonitoring.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
