Surgical Environmental Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize surgical and outpatient areas according to established housekeeping, infection control, and AORN standards.
- Dust, mop, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
- Empty trash and properly dispose of hazardous materials, including sharps and chemotherapy waste.
- Clean and polish sinks, mirrors, wheelchairs, x-ray vests, stainless steel surfaces, windows, and other equipment.
- Restock tissue, soap, towels, and other supplies.
- Order, organize, and maintain cleaning supplies.
- Arrange equipment and furniture as needed.
- Perform area-specific cleaning tasks according to departmental guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and maintain accurate records.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with staff throughout the organization.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Full range of motion with manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Vision and hearing corrected within normal range.
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, hazardous substances, radiation, and medicinal preparations.

Schedule
Full-Time Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Pay
$15.07 per hour
