About the Role

The Surgical Clinical Office Assistant (COA) performs multiple duties within the clinical setting to facilitate the smooth operation of a medical office and related surgical or procedural activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and other procedures
• Schedule ancillary testing
• Provide academic and transcription support
• Act as an interface between surgeons and patients

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college coursework in secretarial or medical sciences preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a clerical setting, preferably in a medical environment
• Demonstrated customer service experience
