Surgical Care Tech Operating Room

Shift: Evening (3pm-11:30pm)

About the Role
The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects operating room equipment as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties including cleaning stretchers, equipment, and terminally cleaning the Surgical Department. On-call required one weekend every couple of months.
About the Department
In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.

Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma
- A minimum of one-year previous related experience
