About the Role

PIH Health is seeking an experienced PA or NP to join our growing team in Downey, California. This is a unique OR and clinic hybrid opportunity, with the position tailored to your specialty and experience in either Orthopedic & Sports Medicine or General Surgery. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience, strong surgical experience, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care across the operating room, clinic, hospital, and emergency department settings.

Requirements

• Current California NP or PA-C license and applicable certifications
• 3–5 years of clinical experience as an NP or PA-C
• Previous surgical first-assist experience strongly preferred
• Experience with wound closure
• Experience with post-operative rounding
• Experience conducting clinic consultations and follow-ups

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively and autonomously within the provider's scope of practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons and a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Pay

Compensation Range: $150,000–$175,000

Schedule
