Surgical Aide - 32 Hours Weekly - Days & Evenings

Essentia Health is seeking a Surgical Aide to work in the operating room at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota.

About the role

This is primarily a cleaning role and is not involved in direct patient care. The schedule includes primarily day shifts (7 a.m.–4 p.m. and 10 a.m.–7 p.m.), with evening shifts (3 p.m.–12 a.m.) and on-call duty required one out of every four weeks. One weekend every four weeks is also required, as well as on-call and holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Stock and census supplies and equipment in all areas of OR-Surgical Services and Perfusion to ensure proper levels.
• Maintain department/work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition to assure safe operation and product integrity.
• Transport stable patients from inpatient rooms and assist in transporting critical patients from the ICU and ER to the operating room or pre-op area.

Pay

$20.39 - $25.45 per hour
