Surgery Scheduler at Texas Endoscopy (Plano Endo-East)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and all aspects of the scheduling process.
  • Strategize and problem solve to ensure high levels of customer service with scheduling coordinators from all doctors' offices and Operating Room Staff.
  • Perform benefits verification and provide patient estimates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years hospital or medical office experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year previous surgery scheduling experience in a hospital or clinical environment preferred.
  • Insurance verification experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
  • Able to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet high-paced demand.
  • Show a genuine desire to work and improve the hospital as a whole.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Strong medical terminology.
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.

Qualifications
