Surgery RN - PRN

About the role

Provide safe, high-quality nursing care across the surgical continuum, including pre- and post-operative phases.

Complete admission and discharge processes, including patient education and documentation.

Assess patient needs and contribute to the development and implementation of care plans.

Ensure all required documentation and physician orders are accurate and up to date.

Assist with coordination of surgical cases and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
• Previous experience in surgical services or perioperative nursing (preferred)
• Experience with admission/discharge workflows (preferred)
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (preferred)
