Schedule

• Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm
• Rotating day off: Wednesday off one week, Thursday off the next, then Friday and Monday off together (4‑day weekend every 4 weeks)
• Minimal call required
• Surgery department closed on holidays and weekends; on‑call coverage always available

Responsibilities

The registered nurse holds a safety‑sensitive position and delivers personalized comprehensive care to patients through the nursing process, combining therapeutic use of self, innovative technology, and collaboration among patients, families, and health‑care professionals. The RN is responsible and accountable for providing leadership to non‑licensed staff as demonstrated by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical‑surgical nursing care for optimum patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma RN license or multi‑state RN license
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire (ACLS classes offered at OSH after hire)
• No prior experience required
