Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Schedule

Full-time or 14 days per month required. Shifts include 6 am–2 pm, 6 am–6 pm, 6 pm–6 am, covering weekdays and weekends.

Job Setting

Level 1 Trauma Center. No clinic work.

Responsibilities

• Orthopedic trauma surgery call coverage and hospital coverage
• Emergency department support
• Consultations and post‑operative care
• Reductions and wash‑outs
• First call duties

Requirements

• Board certified
• South Carolina PA license required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, DEA, CDS (controlled substance license)
• Temporary privileges available for credentialing
