Surgeon

About the role

Join us as a board-certified or residency-trained Surgeon at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital in Hollywood, FL. You'll be part of a supportive team with world-class medicine, technology, facilities, and a talented group of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class medicine and collaborate with a skilled team
• Participate in rotating internship and specialty surgical internship programs
• Utilize advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment
• Collaborate with a network of specialists within VCA

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state, or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing high standards of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Qualifications

• Experience in a 24/7 emergency/specialty/general practice setting
• Knowledge of cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, surgery, and emergency/critical care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
