About the role

VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Surgeon to join their 24-hour emergency and specialty center in Orange County, California. The position offers the opportunity to work in a busy, established multi-specialty practice and live in one of the most desirable regions in the country.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class medicine with the highest standard of care
• Collaborate with a team of specialists including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Critical Care, Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Neurology, Dermatology, Dentistry, and Ophthalmology
• Work in a state-of-the-art facility with advanced equipment including a Canon Aquilion 64 Slice Helical CT, portable C-Arm, and fully equipped Storz tower

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state, or the ability to obtain licensure
• Residency trained or Diplomate Board Certification

Pay

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 to $300,000.

Schedule

Ideal candidate will work a 4 day work week, including one weekend day per week.
