Location: Round Rock, TX
Assignment Duration: 13-week contract position
Schedule
- Weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- May require weekend shifts based on need
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures in the operating room
- Prepare the operating room for surgeries and ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are ready
- Collaborate with surgical teams including RNs and physicians
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures
- Handle and care for instruments and equipment responsibly and effectively
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Experience in general surgery, orthopedic, and neuro surgery is required
- Candidates for CVOR positions must have at least two years of CVOR experience, including adult open heart and endovascular cases
- Basic general OR knowledge with a minimum of one year of experience
- Preferred: Trauma and vascular surgery experience
