Surety/ Construction Associate – Collin County, TX

About the role

Clark Hill PLC is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of practice experience to join its surety/ construction group in Collin County, TX. This practice focuses on litigation in both state and federal courts, counseling, dispute resolution, and contract drafting and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Practical or legal knowledge regarding the construction industry
• Prior experience with construction disputes, mechanics’ liens, and/or preparing and negotiating construction contracts and other construction documents (preferred but not required)
• The ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment with other attorneys, team members, consultants, and clients
• Superb written and oral communication skills

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas bar

• Excellent academic credentials

Benefits

• Salary range: $175,000 - $190,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule
• Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data

Pay
