Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and management ability.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and independent decision making.
• Knowledge of JCAHO / AHCA standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Effective written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
• Possesses a working knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates competent conflict resolution and negotiation techniques.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida.
• BLS from the American Heart Association is required for all areas.
• ACLS from the American Heart Association is required for the ICU, Emergency Department, and Specialty areas.
• Required Experience:
• 1-2 years - Management or demonstrated leadership experience.
• 3-5 years - Medical Surgical clinical experience.
