Full-time position traveling to three locations in the Tampa Bay area: Land O' Lakes, Tampa, and Zephyrhills.
About the Role
The Supervisor, Medical Practice has operational supervisory responsibility for an Orlando Health Physician Group Practice site, focusing on daily operations such as personnel supervision, compliance, facility management, patient scheduling, and business-related reporting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including personnel supervision and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Manage facility operations, patient scheduling, and improve patient access to the practice.
- Act as a resource for the Chief Operations Officer, Director of Operations, and/or Operations Manager.
- Manage operations to provide efficient and cost-effective clinical services.
- Assist in developing, administering, and supporting organizational policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor projects and operational functions as directed by leadership.
- Assist physicians with strategies for efficiency and practice growth.
- Provide management reports for practice planning, marketing, and development.
- Manage personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop systems knowledge, including practice management and electronic medical records.
- Utilize word processing, spreadsheet development, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, customer service, and supervisory skills.
- Provide department-level orientation to new team members, covering system software, protocols, policies, and expectations.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
- Ensure compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Educate and supervise staff, providing necessary documentation related to policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of data and information.
- Function as a member of the medical office management team.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in a physician office setting.
