Supv Maintenance

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor leads daily maintenance operations to ensure plant equipment runs safely and efficiently. This role supervises maintenance staff, coordinates work activities, and partners with production to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient operations
• Plan and prioritize daily maintenance work and schedules
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment including pumps, tanks, piping systems, and power transmission systems
• Respond quickly to equipment issues and implement preventative solutions
• Enforce safety standards and promote a clean, safe work environment
• Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies
• Coincordinate with production, engineering, and external contractors
• Support small projects, equipment installations, and modifications
• Oversee maintenance of lift trucks and material handling equipment
• Aid in training and development of maintenance personnel

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience; prior leadership experience preferred
• Education (Preferred): Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems
• Ability to read technical documents and procedures
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Strong focus on safety and continuous improvement
