Supporting Crew Member-EN
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fulfill the “Pilot Monitoring” role during Flight Simulator training under FAA and/or EASA regulations
- Attend all elements of the training event to support client’s training and learning experience, including pre-flight and post flight briefings
- Maintain professional conduct in all interactions with clients and instructors
- Completes necessary forms and checklists as required for pilot monitoring role
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Commercial or Airline Transport Certificate
- Airplane Multi-Engine land
- Instrument rating with 50 hours of instrument experience
- 400 hours of total flight time (100 hours of turbine, preferred)
- ***This can be reduced to 250 hours if the candidate has a 2 or 4 year aviation university degree or is a graduate of a CAE Academy (with Local Head of Training permission)
- Must be eligible to meet all TSA requirements
- Experience with advanced avionics is preferred
- Basic computer skills - Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer
- Must live within 2 hours of the training facility.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Constantly ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Occasionally move into different positions in various environments, including confined spaces
- Remain in stationary positions constantly, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks
- Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers
COMPENSATION
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
