Supported Employment Specialist with Training Provided for New Grads
RIDGEVIEW Behavioral Health Services, a nonprofit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for a Full Time Bachelor's Level Supported Employment Specialist to provide employment-related social services at our Oak Ridge, TN, location. You will function as a career coach for individuals who have experienced mental health and/or substance abuse issues that have impacted their employment, making a difference in everyday lives.
About the role
IPS (Individual Placement & Support) Employment and Education Specialists develop supported employment and/or supported education opportunities with persons with substance use disorders, mental illness, and/or co-occurring disorders by participating in an integrated care setting and providing ongoing educational and employment supports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in education, social work, human resources, healthcare, or disability-related field of study
- OR Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in another field and two (2) or more years of experience in education, social work, human resources, healthcare, or disability-related field
