Support Technician Pharmacy-Part Time

About the Role

The support technician pharmacy role is responsible for pharmacy inventory management and pharmacy order fulfillment, including handling medication inventory.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties consistent with the work area.
• Manages pharmacy inventory activities, including receiving, order fulfillment, and cycle counting.
• Assists with filling pharmacy-related shipping, receiving, and logistics.
• Prepares and delivers verified medications to patients, representatives, or healthcare workers.
• Maintains pharmacy by fulfilling daily operational needs.
• Follows and maintains all HIPAA guidelines and requirements with patient information.
• Maintains financial, reimbursement, and patient assistance paperwork, where applicable.
• Requires registration with the PA State Board of Pharmacy.

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job-specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) (Required).
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience (Preferred).
• Registration with the PA State Board of Pharmacy.
