SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (80749)

About the role

This role is responsible for providing support and assistance to internal staff by phone, email, remotely and/or in person relating to business applications and operating systems. The position may be based in either our Lancaster, WI or Platteville, WI office.

Responsibilities

• Sytematically analyze, support, resolve and assist TRICOR Employees with computer application problem solving and effectively communicate with employees
• Think on your feet and relate to different people and situations
• Function in a competitive environment where self-discipline and time management are a necessity
• Collaborate, be coachable and willing to learn new skills and software applications
• Make sense of complex information technology issues and effectively and efficiently problem solve for successful outcomes
• Grow and maintain a high-level of information technology services knowledge
• Build key employee relationships with our employees

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area of business information technology or two or more years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understand the Information Technology world/industry from the insurance perspective
• Proficiency with MS office software products; Applied Systems EPIC software is preferred
